I usually read blogs in the feed unless there's a strong reason to go to the site: to make a comment, to see something in particular (new theme, whatever blogger mentions), or to read the complete post of partial feeds. You are at the very top of the feeds in my Google Reader, and I just naturally progress to who's next on the list. I find I only click on sites if I want to see their pictures or leave a comment. Some sites don't have their full feed available, so you HAVE to click over. I was going to say the same thing as Malin!
