It gets hard to differentiate them from each other. That's a good idea, maybe I'll try that with the new commenters. I already use comment relish for that, too. Far too many blogs (I'm looking at the "make money online" community) differ only in the review me posts they put on their blogs. Responsive is important, though I don't like commenting on comments, I generally try and email a new commenter back and try and set up a discussion or something. Hopefully they will come back again and again. GWP's are useful for traffic spikes, but generally don't get many new readers. Least that's what I find. Setting yourself apart is vital! Far too many blogs (I’m looking at the “make money online” community) differ only in the review me posts they put on their blogs.

Setting yourself apart is sure hard in the current blogging community! Niche sites like yours are probably teh best bet. One of these days I will find my niche. The closest I have came is my blog called Girly Things. Being responsive is key. I have had it in my head to install a nested comments plugin. I have yet to do it. Who knows what gets into my head that makes me put things off, but I am indeed well meaning.
