There’s a new tool in town!
I was reading my RSS feeds and found through Kumiko’s Cash Quest, this nifty little tool for picking out html color codes, called AdesClrPicker. This neat tool will give you the code for anything on your screen. And I do mean anything. Just click activate and you are good to go. This is a really cool color picker for use in website design.
You can drag the eyedropper tool over anything that is currently on your screen, and it instantly gives you the code for the color. So if there is a site out there that you wish to get a color from, this is the tool that you’re going to want to use.
From this screen shot, you can see that I grabbed the same orange color that Ades did in his example. See the orange box next to his orange box? That’s the tool working. It’s instant.

The color picker gives you colors in RGB, HTML, Delphi, C++, and VB. For only $10.00, this is a great deal. I’ve downloaded the free demo to have a look around. It also has some cool tips that show up on the taskbar to help you along your way.
If you right-click the eyedropper on the taskbar, you can go to the color library, which will save a bunch of color codes in the inlayed screen. From this screenshot, you can see how easy it was for me to capture all of the RGB color codes for the Wordpress admin screen.

So, what’s ten dollars for a really useful tool? Plus, if you review it on your blog, he’ll give you a nice PR7 backlink from his blog. What’s not to love?
