Scheduling ahead

Maybe you’d like your blog to an up to the minute resource on the latest happenings in pop culture, or whathaveyou, in that case you may not have the luxury of timestamping your entries. Just in case something comes up and you can’t blog for a little while, you can have several posts scheduled ahead, just to be safe.

This helps also when you’re writing just when you’re inspired. I’ll tell you what, I don’t get up at 6:30 in the morning and say, ‘hmmm, I think I’ll write about blogging tips’. It never happens that way. I schedule my blog posts for optimal times so that readers at work can read at their own leisure. If you catch me awake at 6:30am, it’s only because I couldn’t sleep, and the only thought on my mind right then, is how to get back to sleep.

The timestamp is a handy little Wordpress feature that you can use at will, to span out your postings and not bombard your readers.
